With the Doctors

Consultations are by appointments only and can be booked in person or by telephone.
Appointments for the day are available for booking from 8:40am every day.
Advance appointments can be booked during the surgery opening hours.
Doctors do not have personal lists and you may see any doctors of your choice.
Individual doctor's consultation times may vary.
Generally, appointments are available between 7:30am and 6:30pm.
An appointment will normally be available within 48 hours although you may have to wait a bit longer if you specify a particular doctor.
You should usually see the same doctor during the course of one illness to improve continuity of care.
If you are unable to keep an appointment, please inform the reception as soon as possible so that the appointment slot can be offered to other patient.

Urgent cases will usually be seen on the same day. You may not see your usual doctor in this case.

Online Appointments Booking

You can now book appointments to see the Doctors online.

This service is very easy to use and is free of charge.

If you would like to use this service, please follow the instructions described below.

1. You need to register in person at the reception to obtain your personal Registration Letter which contains all the details (e.g. PIN number, Access Id...) required to create an account with the Access secure server. Please remember that you need to register and create an account for each member of the family as each one will have a different PIN and access code.

2. Once you have the letter, click on the link ONLINE APPOINTMENTS on our Home page at www.yellowpractice.co.uk to log on to the Access secure server.
Alternatively, you can go there directly by clicking on this link ONLINE APPOINTMENTS.

3. As you are first time user, you need to create an account. Click on 'Create your account' and follow the instructions to enter all the required details in the corresponding boxes. These details can be found in the Registration Letter given to you. When done, press Submit.

4. At the next page, you will then be asked to enter your personal and security details and your own password.

5. Please remember that you need to register and create account ONCE only.

6. Next time, when you wish to book an appointment, just logon to our website at www.yellowpractice.co.uk and click on the link 'ONLINE APPOINTMENTS', this will take you to the Login page of the Access secure server.

7. You will need the following details to login: Practice ID Number, Access ID and your password. Enter these details in the correct boxes and press Sign In.

8. Once in the main page of the Access secure server, click on the link Book a New Appointment.

9. This will take you to the next page where you can find a list of all pre-bookable appointments with date, time, and doctor. Then follow the instructions on the screen.

10. Please remember that a number of appointments of the day will only be released at 8.30am every morning. These appointments can then be booked online when you log in at 8.30am each day.

11. If you ever forgot your password, you need to obtain a new Access ID and a new PIN number from the reception. Then create a new account with a new password as described above.

b. We reserve the right to suspend your access to this online service if you are found to be using it without due care and consideration or abusing the system.
